1. The service and its operator
This is a personal project, not a company. These terms govern your use of this MyLibrary instance, a hosted workspace for resources, collections, snippets, AI prompts and email-addressed chat. The project operator provides the service. Workspace access is private. You may request an account, but an administrator must approve it before you can sign in. Registration requires an affirmative agreement to the current version and acknowledgement of the Privacy notice. Accounts created by an administrator must accept these rules on their first sign-in. Existing accounts must review and accept the current version before workspace access when the version changes. Acceptance is recorded with the document versions and a server timestamp; administrators cannot agree on your behalf.
The service is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account if you are under 16. If you otherwise need a parent’s, guardian’s or employer’s permission to enter this agreement or share content, obtain it first. No date of birth is collected for this purpose.
2. Your account
Use an email address you control, provide accurate account information, protect your password and tell the operator about suspected unauthorized use. Do not impersonate another person, share credentials or bypass access controls. Email matching in chat does not verify a person’s identity or mailbox ownership; use care before sharing confidential information.
3. Your content and sharing
You retain your rights in your content. You give the operator only the permission needed to host, store, back up, display, transmit and administer it to provide this service. Sharing an item authorizes its display in the conversation and a recipient’s ability to save a copy for their own use. This does not transfer ownership or grant rights you do not have. Respect the original owner’s license and any restrictions when reusing or redistributing content.
Only upload content you are entitled to use and share, including personal information about others. You are responsible for deciding what to share. Snapshots, messages and downloaded copies can remain with recipients after you edit or delete the original or close your account. Do not include passwords, API keys or sensitive/confidential information that should not be accessible to the operator.
4. Administrator access
Administrators can access and export other users’ resources, notes, collections, tags, snippets and full prompts, including AI/provider/model details. They can open and modify a user’s library through administration tools, inspect logs, revoke sessions, restrict accounts and remove accounts/content when justified.
Chat access through the application is limited to participants and cannot be obtained through administrator impersonation. Server/database/backup administrators nevertheless have technical access to stored messages and files. The service is not end-to-end encrypted. Administrative access must be limited to legitimate support, security, maintenance, abuse handling and legal purposes, as explained in the Privacy notice.
5. Acceptable use and reports
Do not use the service for unlawful content, harassment, threats, spam, malware, infringement, unauthorized personal-data disclosure or attempts to identify registered emails or access other accounts. Contact people only where you have a legitimate reason; unknown-address support is not permission for bulk unsolicited messages.
Report suspected unlawful content, misuse or a security issue to the project operator or the person who provided your access. Identify the relevant account, URL or conversation and explain the issue without sending unnecessary personal information. Do not attempt to exploit an issue or access unrelated user data. The operator should assess reports proportionately and respect applicable legal obligations.
6. Limits, availability and external services
Reasonable storage, file-size and request limits protect the service. Supported chat attachments are limited to 10 MB per file, four files per message and 100 MB per uploading account; profile/background images have a 5 MB limit. File checks are not a guarantee that a download is safe. Keep your own copies of important work.
This project is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no promise of uninterrupted or error-free availability, a managed backup schedule or restoration of lost data. It is not a backup service. You are responsible for keeping independent exports and checking that they contain your important content. The built-in export covers library items; it does not include chat history or attachment bytes, which must be kept separately where needed.
External resources and AI labels are not endorsements; MyLibrary does not execute your prompts or guarantee generated content, third-party availability, licensing or accuracy. Mandatory rights regarding conformity, security updates and remedies remain applicable where the law provides them.
7. Restrictions and ending access
The operator may proportionately restrict access or remove content for abuse, a security risk, a legal obligation or a material breach. Where reasonably possible and lawful, the operator should explain the reason and allow you to ask for review or export your own data. Urgent protection or legal restrictions may require immediate action.
You can stop using the service and request account deletion in Settings or by contacting the operator. An instance’s last active administrator must arrange an administrative successor before self-deletion. Deletion, retained copies, logs and backups follow the Privacy notice. Export your library first; ask the operator for data that the built-in library export does not include.
8. Responsibility and changes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for loss or corruption of your data or indirect loss resulting from outages, technical failures or loss of service. This does not exclude responsibility for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, nor liability, remedies or consumer/data-protection rights that the law does not allow to be excluded. Your responsibility to keep exports does not waive those protections.
Each party remains responsible for its own legal obligations. These terms do not authorize unfair fees, unilateral loss of statutory rights or unrestricted administrator use of your content.
The operator must communicate material changes with reasonable notice and seek renewed agreement where required. A changed page is not automatic acceptance by an existing user. Contact the operator first about a dispute; you remain entitled to complain to the relevant authority or use a competent court. Any choice of law or forum must respect mandatory protections that apply to you.
